When I had put the web site online, one of the things I really wanted to improve on was Search Engine Optimization with Google, MSN, and Yahoo. After checking Google tonight, I found this result on the 1st page of 23,100 results, by searching for "flightplans"

This was from Lufthansa320's Article he did Announcing his file upload in the "News > User Announcements" page here and I was glad to see he made the Front Page on Google !! This was one of the objectives I had hoped to achieve with this News Article Module. Not only does your announcement get listed on the site, but it is also being indexed by the search engines.

I have also just added a Google Sitemap which resubmits our web site dynamically as the content changes. This should give us an even greater presence and even better results with Google. I will look into doing the same with Yahoo and MSN as well.

I have updated the News Articles 5 times over the last 2 weeks with feature enhancements, so I have held off explaining its use and benefits to you guys. I will go ahead and do a quick tutorial, explaining how to do a quick announcement in the News Section, explain the RSS Feeds, and provide links to freeware News Readers and some basic info about there use.

Lufthansa320 has done an outstanding job with his Announcemnts!! They look Great, and are being indexed by the Search Engines.
