I have just added support for HTTP Website Compression on both FSAlliance and Boris Cargo websites. You should see some very noticeable improvements in speed. There are a number of File or Mime types excluded like Zip, Jpg, Bmp, Pdf,  etc ... that will not benefit from compression.

Here is an example the benefits compression has to offer ...

FSAlliance and Boris Cargo urls are showing a 70% to 80% file size reduction with typical pages in the 60% range. Compression is done server side which has little effect on the clients browser.
